Several people were killed and more than 10 were injured Sunday in a car crash on 95th Street and Cicero Avenue, according to Mayor Sandra Bury. Multiple media outlets have reported the toll as 3 dead and more than ten injured, but those numbers are unconfirmed.

A silver pickup truck was headed westbound on 95th Street when the driver lost control and ran into the cars in the eastbound lanes, which were waiting for the traffic light to change, Bury said. The pickup truck vaulted and landed on top of cars.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. It is unclear how many injuries and fatalities resulted from the crash, but Bury said more than 10 people were taken to the hospital.

People are advised to stay away from the area.
