The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn will be holding their Kids’ Identification and Safety Seat (K.I.S.S.) event with Illinois Tollway and Illinois State Police District 15 on Saturday, August 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Certified technicians will be on the first floor of the parking tower by the museum at this time to help drivers ensure that the child safety seats in their vehicles are installed properly. Several vehicles including a snowplow and a Tollway H.E.L.P truck will be outside of the parking tower as part of a touch-a-truck display.

Representatives stationed inside the museum will be available to make identification cards for children ages three and above. The identification card will include general information about the child as well as an updated picture which will aid police if the child is to go missing.
