The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn through its partnership with Global Cultural Adventurers welcomed two international students as volunteers this week. The two international students will be volunteering at the museum through mid-August.

The two students, Zhaowen Wang and Zhenya Wei, are both from China. Wang is a junior from Dalian University of Technology and is pursuing a major in Software Engineering. Wei is a freshman from Changchun University of Chinese Medicine, pursuing a major in Chinese Medicine.

While volunteering, the two students will assist the museum in a variety of areas including running special programming. In turn, these hands-on experiences will help the students improve their English skills, let them get a look at a different culture, and more.
