According to a recent study by NerdWallet.com, Naperville is in the money, with 54 percent of households reporting incomes of $100,000-plus.

Not only is Naperville the best place to live (Money magazine, 2012) or among the snootiest mid-sized cities (Movoto, 2014), the western suburb has now been ranked one of America’s highest earning cities.

Over 50 percent of Naperville residents boast annual incomes of $100,000 or more, according to a new study by NerdWallet.com.

A Pew Research Center study places the average U.S. median household income at $52,250.
