New D123 Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Assessment and Family Engagement
Help us in welcoming Dr. Kathleen Gavin as she begins her new position at D123 on July 1, 2016.

At the February 22nd, 2016, District 123 Board of Education meeting, the board of education approved the appointment of Dr. Kathleen Gavin as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Assessment & Family Engagement for District 123.
Dr. Gavin is both a resident of Oak Lawn and a proud graduate of District 123. She began her career at Stagg High School in District 230 where she served as a math teacher, Director of Curriculum for Math, Science, and Applied Technology and eventually as the Director of Program Assessment. For the past fourteen years, she has served District 218 as the Curriculum Director for Mathematics and most recently as the Director of Curriculum, Assessment, and Program Evaluation. Dr. Gavin will bring her experience and knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to partner with the District 123 community and build upon the tradition of excellence. She looks forward to returning to her Oak Lawn roots and serve the entire D123 learning community.
Dr. Gavin will begin her new position on July 1, 2016. Information regarding future opportunities to meet with Dr. Gavin will be forthcoming.
