A hand-to-hand drug transaction results in man's arrest after he sells club drug ketamine in controlled drug buy, prosecutor says.
OAK LAWN, IL -- A North Side man was arrested after he sold a club drug to a confidential source in a controlled drug buy, prosecutors said. Daniel Mulhern, 22, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and manufacture and delivery.
Oak Lawn police set up a controlled drug buy with a confidential source on July 26 near 95th Street and Cicero. Undercover officers watched the confidential source conduct a hand-to-hand drug transaction with Mulhern using marked money, the prosecutor said.
After the drugs and money exchanged hands, officers moved in and arrested Mulhern, who police said 7 grams of ketamine in his possession. Mulhern was released on a $10,000 I-bond. Mulhern’s next court date is July 24 in Bridgeview.
