Oak Lawn Announces 2018 Summer Concerts On The Green Lineup
Oak Lawn's free summer concert series kicks off Sunday, June 3, on the village green.

Summer has arrived and so have Concerts on the Green. Gather your friends and start planning your picnics and parties. The Village of Oak Lawn and the Oak Lawn Park District are teaming up to present six outdoor concerts falling on Sunday evenings throughout the summer. The concerts are FREE and will take place on the village green across from Oak Lawn Village Hall at 9466 S. Raymond Ave.
Kicking off the 2018 summer concert series will be the Chicago Skyliners Big Band on June 3. The concerts run from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The 2018 band lineup includes:
- Chicago Skyliners Big Band (pop standards, big band), June 3
- Nick Lynch Band (country rock), June 17
- The Hat Guys (modern and classic rock), July 8
- Five Guys Named Moe (classic rock and roll), July 22
- The Walk-Ins (1950’s oldies through present), Aug. 5
- Strung Out (best of the 1970s), Aug. 26
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks. Refreshments will also be available for purchase during shows. Patrons may bring their own beer and wine to summer concerts. Don't forget the mosquito repellant. The restroom in the lobby at village hall is also open for concert goers' comfort and convenience, as well as portable bathroom facilities.
