Oak Lawn Community High School Math Department Welcomes Megan Martinez

From Oak Lawn Community High School:

Megan Martinez, the second oldest of seven siblings, loves her 33 pound cat Milos.

Megan has a B.S. in Biology from Illinois State University and a secondary math degree with an ESL endorsement from Northern Illinois University.

Megan won the Teacher of the Year award from Northern Illinois University and worked for five years at Elgin University as a math tutor, lab assistant and supplemental instructor for statistics. In addition to teaching Geometry and Intermediate Algebra, Megan is the assistant girls basketball coach.

Megan loves how engaged and involved her Spartan students are in the classroom. She admires how much they care about their future and hopes to help them reach their full potential in academia.
