Oak Lawn Community High School Revs Up For New School Year

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community School is excited to welcome students home for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Included below are some important dates and information.

Tuesday, August 16, 2022 | Freshman/New Student Orientation

Orientation will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Incoming students will meet in the Spartan Gym where they will be welcomed before walking through their schedules. The day will conclude with a pep rally. All students new to the district, including freshmen and transfer students, should attend. Please bring your charged iPad. See schedule details here.

Wednesday, August 17, 2022 | First Day of School

All students will attend the first day of school. Zero hour begins at 6:50 a.m. and period 1 begins at 8:32 a.m. All students should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled start time to allow time to get to class. Remember to bring your charged iPad. Teachers will share any other supply needs during the first week of school.

Schedule E | First 3 Days of School

OLCHS will be following schedule E the first 3 days of school. From Aug. 17 through Aug. 19 students will be dismissed at 1:52 PM. Details for Schedule E can be found here.
