Oak Lawn Cops ID Suspect in Barber Shop Robbery: WARRANT
Police think they know the identity of one of the suspects in the barber shop robbery. Arrest warrant issued for $250,000.
OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn police think they know the identity of one of the men who brazenly robbed a barber shop earlier this month.
On Jan. 5, three men burst into Sport Cutz Fades, 8834 S. Cicero Ave. brandishing weapons and demanding cash. Police said the robbers grabbed customers’ cell phones and $1,500 in cash. One of the suspects was said to be brandishing an AK-47, the other two were armed with pistols.
The suspects are described as three African-American men in their 20s. Police were at the Bridgeview Courthouse on Thursday seeking an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old man.

The detective told Cook County Judge Donald Havis that Chicago police identified the possible suspect. Witnesses at the barber shop positively identified the man.
Prosecutors said the man has prior convictions for retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and escape from electronic monitoring.
