Oak Lawn Cops Search For Man Who Tried To Lure Teen To Car

OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn police are searching for a man who demanded that a 14-year-old girl get into his vehicle. Police sent out an Everbridge alert on Sunday afternoon. The vehicle is described as a white Honda SUV. Police checked the area where it happened but could not find the driver.

The girl was walking in the 9000 block of South Cicero Avenue around 4 p.m. Sunday. Police said she was approached by a driver who pulled up next to her and asked her to get into his car. The driver is described as a 30-year-old male black with a slim build. The investigation is ongoing.
