Oak Lawn Cops End Search For McDonald's Robbery Suspect
Oak Lawn cops conclude search for McDonald's robbery suspect.
OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn police ended a search for an armed robbery suspect said to have robbed a McDonald’s restaurant at gunpoint Tuesday evening. Police officers, extra K9s and a helicopter were brought in to help search for the purported robber reported to have fled the scene.
An Everbridge alert went out warning residents living a near 91st Street and Cicero Avenue to stay inside. Sometime after 9 p.m., a man held up the McDonald’s at 9128 S. Cicero, Oak Lawn police said. The suspect was described as a male white, around 5-feet-9-inches tall, who was wearing a black hoodie, black bandana and gray jeans.
Oak Lawn Police are currently searching for an armed robbery suspect who just fled the scene of the McDonalds located at 9100 Cicero on foot. M/W 5'09 Black hoody ,Black Bandanna, Gray jeans, armed with handgun. All residents in the area advised to stay inside.

Police closed off several streets in the area as a Cook County Sheriff’s Police helicopter circled overhead. Extra K9s were called in to search backyards in the area. Oak Lawn police sent out a tweet stating that officers concluded their search but did not mention if they had a suspect in custody.
