OAK LAWN, IL — Just in time for pumpkin spice latte season, Oak Lawn’s Fall on the Green Festival celebrates its 24th year of bringing autumnal joy to the south suburbs on the village’s bucolic green at 95th Street and Cook Avenue. Fall On The Green has evolved into one of the largest and most popular outdoor fests in the Southland, traditionally falling on the first weekend after Labor Day in September. The 2019 edition runs Friday through Sunday, Sept. 6, 7 and 8. Admission and attractions are entirely FREE. Leave your dogs, cats, ferrets and other pets at home.

The Bands

Friday, September 6

  • Teen Battle of the Bands (under the tent on Raymond Avenue), 6:30 to 10 p.m. Winner will play the main stage from 11 a.m. to noon Sunday, Sept. 8, plus win some other fabulous prizes.
  • Liam Durkin Band, 6 to 8 p.m. Beer Tent (folk, country, rock)
  • The Ron Burgundy’s, 8 to 10 p.m. Main Stage (yacht rock)
  • The Hat Guys, 10 p.m. to midnight, Beer Tent (modern/classic hits)
