“Our firefighters do amazing things and I am so proud of the way they give back to our community. Of the many community events our firefighters participate in, this is one we all look forward to every year," Oak Lawn Fire Chief Mike Mavrogeorge said. "The holidays can be a lonely and difficult time for families with a child in a hospital. To see the eyes of these children light up with joy when we present them with toys is an amazing feeling.”
