Oak Lawn Gas Station Sells Winning $700K Lotto Ticket
Some lucky winner is starting out 2016 a whole lot richer.
The new year is looking brighter for the person who bought a winning Illinois Lottery ticket from an Oak Lawn gas station.
Some lucky unknown winner won themselves $700,000 after purchasing a Lucky Day Lotto ticket on New Year’s Eve at the Citgo station at 6801 W. 87th St.
The ticket matched all five numbers: 01, 05, 20, 24 and 39. The gas station that sold the winning ticket will receive a $7,000.

Lottery officials are encouraging the winner to sign the back of the ticket and claim his or her prize.
The Illinois Lottery resumed paying out prizes on Dec. 15.
