Oak Lawn Parents Welcome First Baby Born in 2018

OAK LAWN, IL -- Advocate Christ Medical Center welcomed one of the first babies to be born in the Chicago-area -- and until further notice -- Oak Lawn’s first baby of 2018. Janae Lenor Davis made her debut at 12:08 a.m. January 1. Baby Janae is in great health and was welcomed by proud parents Jeremy Davis and Dana Brown. The happy family resides in Oak Lawn.

The baby girl measured 20 inches long and weighed 9 pounds. Big sister Jayda, 6, is waiting at home to play with and help her parents take care of her new baby sister. Janae was delivered by Dr. Yesim Gulecyu. Janae was born in Advocate Christ’s state-of-the-art Women and Infants Birthing Center. Since the building opened in 2015, the birthing center has delivered more than 8,100 babies.
