Oak Lawn Pools And Splash Pads Open For 2026 Season: What You Need To Know
Oak Lawn Park District pools will be open through Aug. 16, offering swim lessons, aquatics rentals and more.

OAK LAWN, IL—If you’ve been pining all winter for the Oak Lawn Park District pools to open, that time is finally here. There are plenty of places to jump up and cool off this summer.
The park district offers two community pools and eight splash and spray pads located throughout the village.
Central Pool and Centennial Aquatic Center are open for the summer through Aug. 16.

- Air temperature is below 70 degrees
- Lightning is sighted or threatening weather
- The water is not chemically balanced
- There is a mechanical failure
- Lack of sufficient lifeguards
- Pool has less than 15 swimmers for 30 minutes
- Fecal / Vomit Accidents

The Oak Lawn Park District offers swimming lessons for toddlers, children and adults, from Splish-Splash all the way to Level 5 of the American Red Cross guidelines for all swim levels.

Pool Hours
Central Pool, 9400 S. Kenton Ave. — The pool has been fitted with a new liner, and the slide has been painted for the 2026 season.
- Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 12:30 to 6 p.m.
- Morning Lap, 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday and Thursday
- Evening Lap, 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday
Admission:
- 2 and Under, $6 R, $8 NR
- Individual (ages 3-59), $10 R, $15 NR
- Senior (ages 60 & up), $9 R, $13 NR
Centennial Aquatic Center, 94th and Nashville Avenue—Patrons can enjoy the 42′ slide, 32′ drop slide, diving board, wading pool, splash pad, and sand volleyball court.
- Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday-Sunday, 12:30 to 6 p.m.
- Splash Pad is free to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday, and access is included during pool hours with paid admission.
- Evening hours are 8 to 9:50 p.m.
- Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Friday-Sunday 12:30 to 6 p.m.

- Ages 2 & under, $6 R, $8 NR
- Individual, ages 3-59, $10 R, $15 NR
- Seniors, ages 60 & up, $9 R, $13 NR
Memorial Park Splash Pad, 102nd and Major—the splash pad is currently available for everyone to use and is free to the public.
