Oak Lawn Runner Ken Cabral One Of Fastest Runners In State
Oak Lawn Community High School senior Ken Cabral clocked one of his fastest times in the boys indoor track and field season.
OAK LAWN, IL — The indoor boys track and field season has only just begun, but Oak Lawn Community High School senior Ken Cabral is already speeding toward a successful season. Boasting the team’s fastest times in the 55/60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, he is aiming for big things. His time in the 55-meter dash is currently ranked as the 13th fastest in the state of Illinois.
“Ken is a senior leader this year,” head coach John Jensen said. “He has stepped up and taken a leadership role and helps run practice. Ken is a key contributor to the sprint squad.”
Cabral, who recently committed to run track and study nursing at St. Xavier University, is closing out a four-year varsity career this winter and spring with the Spartans.
