Oak Lawn Spartan Diver Jeremy Gravelle 'Athlete of the Month'

OAK LAWN, IL – The month of February was a busy one for boys swimmers across the state of Illinois as conference championships were taking place, sectional meets were hosted, and an eventual state finals meet crowned state champions. Oak Lawn Community High School diver and swimmer Jeremy Gravelle took the busy month as his own.

He won the South Suburban Conference Red diving title for an impressive third consecutive year. He then placed fifth at the Illinois High School Association Sectional meet and advanced to the IHSA state finals. At the state finals meet, Gravelle finished 31st out of 48 divers. For all of these accomplishments, Gravelle was named as the Spartan Athlete of the Month for February.
