Oak Lawn Spartan Logar Karr Eyes 'Personal Best' At Shepard Swim Meet
Voted team captain by his fellow swimmers, Oak Lawn Community High School swimmer Logan Karr's specialty event is the 100-yard breaststroke.
OAK LAWN, IL — For three years, junior Logan Karr has been on the boys varsity swim team at Oak Lawn Community High School. Over the years, he has earned respect from coaches and teammates. This year, he was voted as team captain by his fellow Spartan swimmers.
Now he looks to build on that respect by swimming his best at the South Suburban Conference meet at Shepard this Saturday. Karr’s specialty event is the 100-yard breaststroke.
“Logan is the vocal leader and energy boost for the team who ensures there is never a dull moment,” OLCHS head coach Derek Maciaga said.
