Oak Lawn Summer Concerts Start June 4 With Neighborhood Blues Band

Oak Lawn's free summer concert series kicks off Sunday, June 4, on the village green.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Kick off summer in Oak Lawn with the first outdoor concert on the village green. This Sunday, June 4. The Neighborhood Blues Band gets the evening rocking from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The concert is FREE.

The Village of Oak Lawn and the Oak Lawn Park District are teaming up to present six outdoor concerts and three movies. All shows and performances will take place on the village green across from Oak Lawn Village Hall at 9466 S. Raymond Ave. All concerts start at 7:30 p.m.

Three great family movies will also be shown outdoors Friday evenings on the village green. All movies start at dusk, which is typically between 7:45 and 8:15 p.m. The movies are FREE. The full movie lineup includes:

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks. Refreshments will also be available for purchase during concerts and movies. Patrons may bring their own beer and wine to summer concerts. Don’t forget the mosquito repellant.

Also for your comfort, temporary restroom facilities will be set up outdoors. The lobby at village hall (9446 S. Raymond Ave.) will also be open with restroom access available during concerts and movie showings until 11 p.m.
