Oak Lawn Tricksters Brave Cold Halloween For Treats And Scares

OAK LAWN, IL -- Trick-or-treaters braved the coldest Halloween in 21 years, haunting doorsteps throughout Oak Lawn grabbing treats from neighbors. Patch was on hand to catch a few of the screams and scares as hundreds of youngsters trapsed through the Krickl family’s haunted garage on Kildare Avenue. Kids had to walk through a dead forest to get their fun-sized candy bars. There was also candy for the kids who changed their minds by deciding not to go through the garage haunt.
