Oak Lawn Woman Offers To Sell Cops Drugs Over Phone: Police

Prosecutor said police were calling the woman on another matter when she offered to sell them drugs before they could say they were cops.

OAK LAWN, IL -- When Oak Lawn police called a woman to discuss a pending case, she immediately offered to sell them drugs before officers were able to identify themselves, prosecutors said. Whitney Villa, 28, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a felony charges of delivery and possession of a controlled substance and possession. Villa is also facing a misdemeanor charge of possession of a drug paraphernalia.

Police called Villa on April 11 to speak about another matter. Before they could tell her they were cops, Villa allegedly offered to sell them adderall. The cops alleged that they arranged to meet Villa at a strip mall in Burbank. After Villa handed over 17 orange pills stamped “U31” to police, she was immediately arrested counting the prerecorded funds, the prosecutor said.

Villa’s Oak Lawn residence in the 5600 block of West 87th Street was also searched. The prosecutor said police found multiple types of adderall bagged up and ready for sale.
