Oak Lawn's Sam Labuda Brings Power To The Plate

OAK LAWN, IL — With all things being equal, sometimes it is effort and work ethic that separate the good players. For Oak Lawn Community High School senior girls softball player Sam Labuda, that is exactly what is happening. Labuda has opened the season with a ton of success at the plate. She is currently hitting .588 with eight RBIs.

“She has been a leader by example with her work ethic and effort,” head coach Pat Probst said. “We look forward to her continued contributions both offensively and defensively for the rest of the season.”
