OAK LAWN, IL — Junior Robert Wagner jumped out to a great start to the boys track and field season for Oak Lawn Community High School with a solid indoor season. For all that he accomplished in March, he earned OLCHS Athlete of the Month honors.

He won the indoor conference meet in high jump by clearing 6-feet, 4.5 inches, and then he jumped 21.4 feet in the long jump. In addition, he took second place in the 4x160 relay at conference.

More impressively, those marks qualified Wagner to compete in the IL Top Times meet. There he placed 11th in the long jump and fifth in the high jump, clearing a new personal record of 6-feet, 5.5 inches.
