OLCHS 6-Foot-7, Lillard Gonzalez Defends The Edge For Spartan Football
Lillard Gonzalez is recording sacks and tackles all over the field for Oak Lawn Community High School football.
OAK LAWN, IL — When the 6-foot-7 Lillard Gonzalez is on the basketball court, he absolutely battles for every rebound. When he is on the football field, he has that same relentless effort chasing down ball carriers and quarterbacks and any opponent for the Oak Lawn Community High School football team.
The edge player has recorded quarterback sacks and tackles all over the field this year. He is truly becoming a force for the Spartans.
“Lillard’s relentless effort to pursue the ball carrier is evident as he has shut down his edge and made tackles on the opposing team’s sideline,” said OLCHS head coach Ryan Pattison. “Lillard started garnishing some college attention last year as a sophomore. Through his play on the field and natural talents, Lillard can become a next-level athlete. Look for Lillard to continue to grow his junior season and be a force for the Spartans.”
