OLCHS Art Teachers Drop In At C2E2

Oak Lawn Community High School teachers drop some educational knowledge on attendees at Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo.

OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Community High School Fine Arts Department descended upon the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) to drop some educational knowledge to those in attendance the weekend of Aug. 5

Jen Clark and AiIysh Cooper led a bobblehead making workshop in the family headquarters of the convention, and Bob Habersat conducted an animation workshop with a keynote presentation.

Department chair Eric Kallenborn curated and participated in a number of panels throughout the weekend. Kallenborn is part of an educational cohort (Lit-X) that works to help educators incorporate different types of pop culture literacies into schools.
