OLCHS Dancers Impress in 2017 Irish Dancing World Championships
Oak Lawn Community High School pick up second place and team championships in Dublin.

OAK LAWN, IL -- OLCHS freshmen Tadgh Spillane and Sydney Rozhon turned in impressive performances at the 2017 World Irish Dancing Championships in Dublin, Ireland. Tadgh competed in the 15-16 boys’ competitive against 51 other competitors. He finished in second place. This was Tadgh’s fourth year finishing in the top two. He has previously earned two world championships and a second-place finish. Tadgh continues to train and hopes to attend the 2018 Irish dance tournament in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sydney Rozhon earned a team championship title for the under 16 category. Sydney’s team consisted of eight members from the Lavin Cassidy School of Irish Dance.
