OLCHS Golfer Eion Burke Earns All-SSC Red Honors
Eion Burke finished the season as one of the top varsity players for Oak Lawn Community High School's varsity boys golf team.
OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Community High School boys golf team went 8-3-1 in the South Suburban Conference this season, and a major part of the team’s success was because of Eion Burke. He posted one of the lowest scores in the conference and earned All-SSC Red honors because of it.
For the second year in a row, Burke also advanced out of the Illinois High School Association Regional and qualified for the IHSA Sectional.
“Eion finished the season as one of the top varsity players,” head coach Pat Mayer said.
