OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School Principal Dr. Jeana Lietz will be inducted to the District 230 Legacy Hall. Dr. Lietz is a 1996 graduate of Sandburg High School in Orland Park and has served in several educational leadership roles throughout her career.

After beginning her career at Lincoln-Way High School District 210, Dr. Lietz joined the administrative team at OLCHS as the assistant principal for curriculum in 2011 and was named principal in 2016. Through her leadership, Dr. Lietz led OLCHS through the adoption of 1:1 technology, eventually earning recognition as an Apple Distinguished School. There are fewer than 500 schools worldwide that have this designation.

Due to her strong and visionary leadership, Dr. Lietz also serves as a member of the Apple Distinguished Schools Advisory Board.
