OAK LAWN, IL — Molly Sheridan may only be a sophomore, but she is making a real name for herself on the varsity girls cross-country team at Oak Lawn Community High School. Having scored in every event this year and dropping her time at every single meet, she just continues to improve as the season progresses.

Recently, at the Argo Invitational and facing some stiff competition, Sheridan finished 16th overall and earned a medal for the Spartans. She is looking to continue this torrid pace.

“Molly is a rising star on the girls cross country team this year, being the only sophomore to make varsity,” said OLCHS head coach Sue Szala. “She has been a huge asset to our team. She has a great combination of speed, endurance, and work ethic. As her coach, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.”
