OLCHS Students Present Jukebox Musical 'Mamma Mia!' This Weekend

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School students will present the jukebox romantic comedy, “Mamma Mia,” featuring the music of Swedish power group ABBA. Performances are at 7 p.m. Oct. 27, Oct. 28 and Oct. 27 in OLCHS’s state-of-the-art performing arts center.

This lively musical, told through some of ABBA's biggest hits, tells the story of a young woman, Sophie (played by senior Tori Prause), and her search for her birth father. On the eve of her wedding, Sophie shocks her mother, Donna (played by senior Emma Faucault-Miller), by bringing three men from Donna’s past back to the idyllic Greek island they last visited 20 years ago. With a daughter trying to find herself, a mother forced to face her past, and three possible dads, Mamma Mia! leaves audiences with a walk down the aisle they’ll never forget.

Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online at Vanco Events, or at the door (if available). Oak Lawn Community High School is located at 9400 Southwest Highway.
