OLCHS Teachers Named 'Apple Distinguished Educators'
OLCHS teachers Jennifer Wargin and Janet Meyers join global community of educators doing amazing work with technology in the classroom

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School’s technology coach Janet Meyers and art teacher Jennifer Wargin were recently welcomed to the Apple Distinguished Educators Class of 2019. As ADEs, both teachers join a global community of education leaders recognized for doing amazing work with Apple technology in and out of the classroom.
Apple created the ADE Program in 1994 to recognize K-12 and higher education pioneers who are using Apple technology to transform teaching and learning in powerful ways. Celebrating 25 years, the program has grown into a worldwide community of over 2,800 visionary and innovative leaders in education, helping other educators rethink what is possible with iPad and Mac.
ADEs explore new ideas, seek new paths, and embrace new opportunities. That includes working with each other and with Apple to bring the freshest, most innovative ideas to learners everywhere.
