Only 23 Cards Remain as Park Lawn’s Crown the King Jackpot Climbs Past $13,055

OAK LAWN, IL — The board is getting smaller, the jackpot is getting bigger, and the excitement surrounding Park Lawn’s Crown the King at Birdies Sports Bar & Grill continues to build.

Tuesday night brought another rollover after M.J. (XXX-XXX-8479) had their ticket pulled and was present for the drawing. M.J. selected Card #30, revealing the 9 of Hearts.

M.J. received 24 tickets into next week’s drawing, while the elusive King of Spades remained hidden for another week.

Now, just 23 cards remain on the board, and the jackpot for the next drawing starts at more than $13,055.

Crown the King returns Tuesday, September 15, at 7 p.m. at Birdies Sports Bar & Grill, 4036 W. 111th Street in Oak Lawn.

The remaining board is creating an increasingly exciting situation for players: somewhere among those 23 remaining cards is the King of Spades.

When the King of Spades is selected, the winner receives 60% of the jackpot if present for the drawing. A winner who is not present receives 50%.

That makes being at Birdies on Tuesday night especially important.

Players can come early for dinner and drinks, purchase their tickets and stay for the 7 p.m. drawing.
