Oscar Mayer 'Wienermobile' Cruises Into South Suburbs
The rebranded Frankmobile will be stopping by Fairplay grocery stores in Oak Lawn, Worth, Hickory Hills and Morgan Park June 29 and June 30.

SOUTH SUBURBS, IL — The iconic hot dog on wheels formerly known as the "Wienermobile" is coming this week to Fairplay grocery stores with a beefy new name in Oak Lawn, Worth, Hickory Hills and Chicago’s Morgan Park neighborhood.
Kraft Heinz announced last month that it was renaming the vehicle the Frankmobile for the first time since 1936 to pay homage to a new recipe for Oscar Mayer's 100 percent beef franks, which debuted nationwide in May.

Six Frankmobiles are crisscrossing the United States as part of the rebrand "Keep It Oscar" campaign that began in 2021 as a turnaround strategy to grow and reinvigorate Oscar Mayer, Axios reported.
The Oscar Mayer Frankmobile is in the area visiting parades, celebrations, and businesses through July 4. The Frankmobile already made an appearance at Sunday’s Pride parade.
