Our Lady At St. Germaine 2019 Carnival: What You Need To Know

OAK LAWN, IL — The Our Lady of St. Germaine Carnival returns for a second year Aug. 22 to Aug. 25 at 9711 S. Kolin Ave., Oak Lawn. This year St. Germaine is joined by Our Lady of Loretto Church from Hometown, as the parishes merge together. Proceeds go to both parishes ministries, including COURAGE, Community Nutrition Network and the parish elementary school St. Germaine.

The carnival features 18 big rides provided by Windy City Amusements, live music, raffles, food, vendors, a tot area and bingo. Mega passes can be purchased for $85. The mega passes are good for ALL rides for ALL four days for ALL ages.

Unlimited ride specials will be available for $25 from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 22 and Aug. 23 and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 24 and Aug. 25. On Sat., Aug. 24, unlimited ride specials are being offered for $30 from 6 to 10 p.m.

Our Lady At St. Germaine welcomes Chuck's Southern Comfort Cafe of Burbank, Taco Burrito King and Barraco’s to the food court. Queen of Hearts raffle tickets will also be sold. The raffle will be pulled at 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22. The grand prize is over $26,000 and growing.

Games and face painting for the kiddos will take place throughout the carnival in the school gym.

Thursday and Friday, Aug. 22 and Aug. 23, 5 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24, 1 to 10 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 25, 1 to 6 p.m., 11:30 a.m. outdoor mass

Bingo Hours:

Saturday, Aug. 23, 5 to 9:30 p.m. in the air-conditioned activity center.

Sunday, Aug. 24, 1 to 5:30 p.m.
