Palos Hills Man Wanted For Home Repair Fraud: WARRANT
Police said contractor cashed check to repair granite counter tops but never performed the work.

PALOS HILLS, IL -- A Palos Hills man is accused of defrauding a homeowner on a contract. Cook County Sheriff’s police were in court Wednesday seeking an arrest warrant for Piotr Wysocki, 47, on a felony charge of home repair fraud.
The sheriff’s deputy told Cook County Judge John Mahoney Wysocki entered into an oral agreement with a homeowner in Orland Park on Jan. 8 to repair some granite countertops. The homeowner wrote a check for $4,181, which Wysocki allegedly cashed the same day. Wysocki never finished the work, according to the warrant.
Wysocki did not return the homeowner’s calls, the homeowner claims. The deputy said the homeowner identified Wysocki in a photo lineup. The judge issued an arrest warrant carrying a $50,000 bond.
