Parking Plan In Place For Oak Lawn Fourth of July Fireworks
Helpful information on where to park for July 4 fireworks at Richards High School in Oak Lawn.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Parking restrictions will be in place on Wednesday, July 4, during the Oak Lawn Park District’s “Party In the Park” celebration at Memorial Park and the Village of Oak Lawn’s fireworks display at Richards High School.
The park district is changing up its Fourth of July celebration by moving it to Memorial Park at 102nd Street and Major Avenue. “Party In the Park” gets going at noon immediately following the village’s and wraps up at 4 p.m.

Richards High School’s entire south lot on 107th Street will be closed resurfacing and 107th Street will be closed to traffic. Parking for the evening fireworks on July 4 will be available at the following locations:

- Oak Lawn Park District Racquet, Fitness & Gymnastics Center, 10444 S. Central Ave.
- Wolfe Wildlife Refuge, 109th Street and Lawler Avenue. (Police patrols will be on the paths guiding patons to the fireworks display)
- Memorial Park, 102nd Street and Major Avenue
- Stony Creek Golf Course, Restaurant & Banquets, 5850 W. 103rd St.
Gates for the evening fireworks open at Richards High School, 10601 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, at 6 p.m. with music provided by GAC Entertainment starting 7 p.m., followed by a fabulous fireworks show at 9 p.m. Read more about what’s in store for the Fourth of July in Oak Lawn.
