Parolee Tied To Gas Station Robbery Arrested At Doctor's Office
Oak Lawn police arrested suspect tied to March robbery of Circle K gas station at doctor's appointment, prosecutors said.

OAK LAWN, IL — A Chicago man was taken into custody after he was tied to a gas station robbery in Oak Lawn that occurred in March, prosecutors said. Paul Flores, 47, appeared before Cook County Judge Donald Havis on a Class X felony charge of armed robbery.
Around 4:45 p.m. March 22, the prosecutor said a man wearing a Chicago Cubs hoodie, later identified as Flores, entered the Circle K gas station at 106th Street and Cicero Avenue, with his face covered. Flores allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the register. The prosecutor said Flores ran past a witness, who called police. Flores’s vehicle was reportedly spotted speeding down Cicero without its lights. Police were able to get a license plate number that registered to Flores, the prosecutor said.
The prosecutor said that Flores was identified from security video by his girlfriend. She also turned over the shirt he wore at the alleged robbery to police. Flores was arrested May 6 during a doctor’s appointment.
