Pedestrian Killed In Bridgeview, Driver in Custody: Police
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday evening in Bridgeview. Police have driver in custody.
BRIDGEVIEW, IL -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Bridgeview, police said. The accident happened around 6:50 p.m. The driver is in police custody.
The person was struck on the 87th Street just west of Harlem Avenue between Oketo Avenue and 78th Avenue. The area has been closed off to all traffic as police conduct an investigation. Police said the person hit by the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene.
