In-Person Class Cancellations, School Closings For Feb 2: Updated

SOUTH COOK COUNTY — Schools, businesses and institutions are making plans to close Wednesday, Feb. 2, in anticipation of a major snow storm heading toward the Chicago area. The National Weather Service has issued warnings been issued for La Salle, Grundy, central and southern Cook, and Will counties, in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Five to 11 inches could blanket south Cook County.

Following are closings for Oak Lawn, Alsip, Crestwood, Palos, Evergreen Park and the surrounding area. Check back for updates.

Listings will indicate if students will be having e-learning or a day of cavorting in the snow.
