'Pinky Ring' Bandit Tries To Rob Hickory Hills Bank: FBI

FBI is asking for public's help in identifying man wearing pinky ring who allegedly tried to rob a Hickory Hills bank.

HICKORY HILLS, IL -- The FBI Chicago Office is asking the public for help in identifying a man who allegedly tried to rob a bank in Hickory Hills on Friday morning. The feds said he was wearing a charcoal gray pinky ring on his right hand.

Around 9:15 a.m., the feds said that a man in his mid-30s walked into Byline Bank at 95th Street and Roberts Road. The alleged bandit was thwarted in his robbery attempt.
He has a medium build and stands 5-feet-6-inches to 6-feet tall. In addition to his pinky ring, the suspect wore reflective sunglasses, a green baseball cap, dark-colored pants and white Nike gym shoes.
