Police Find THC Wax in Raid: Prosecutor

Cops find 14 packets of dabs, a ledger and cash executing search warrant on Oak Lawn man's home, prosecutor says.

OAK LAWN, IL -- Oak Lawn police executed a search warrant after a controlled buy revealed that a man was selling dabs from his residence, prosecutors said.

Juan Salazar, 30, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

According to the charges, police went to the home of Juan Salazar, 30, in the 9600 block of South Ridgeland Avenue around 12:30 a.m. March 2.

Police found 14 packets of wax THC, a ledger, and $3,365 cash in Salazar’s residence, including marked bills from a controlled buy. Salazar was home when the search warrant was executed, the prosecutor said.

Bail was set at $20,000. Salazar’s next hearing is March 23 in Bridgeview.
