‘Pop-Up’ Senior-Focused DMV Moves To New Location In Bridgeview

Due to popularity of the "no-appointment" walk-in senior pop-up DMV, the Secretary of State DMV is moving to the Bridgeview Community Center

BRIDGEVIEW, IL — Following the popularity of its “pop-up” senior-focused DMV in Bridgeview, the Secretary of State facility will pop up in a new location at the Bridgeview Community Center, 7902 S. Oketo Ave.

The Bridgeview facility has been operating at SeatGreek Stadium since September, along with three other senior centers that have been serving customers during the past four months. Due to the overwhelming response from seniors, Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias decided the DMV facility should remain in Bridgeview as an option for south suburban seniors.

The “no appointment” walk-in senior pop-up will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, The Bridgeview DMV will offer the following Driver and Vehicle Services:

The senior pop-up facilities in Bridgeview, Calumet Township, Evanston and
Westchester are part of Giannoulias’ effort to improve the Skip-the-Line program and
eliminate long lines at DMVs. Since launching Sept. 1, Illinois DMVs have seen more
than 800,000 customers statewide – including over 21,000 seniors who have visited the
four Senior Centers and over 9,000 who had visited the Bridgeview facility at SeatGeek
Stadium.

“We’re excited to continue to provide a top-notch service experience specifically tailored
to serve seniors at a new location in Bridgeview,” Giannoulias said in a news release. “Our Skip-the-Line program delivered great results in 2023, ensuring that all Illinoisans, but especially our seniors, can quickly and easily access the services provided at our DMVs and
experience little to no wait times. We have much more planned for 2024.”
