Justice woman claimed she bought synthetic cannabis from a retail establishment, public defender said.

OAK LAWN, IL -- A Justice woman was arrested after Oak Lawn police found synthetic cannabis in plain view inside her vehicle during a traffic stop, prosecutors said.

Taylor Streitmatter, 22, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

The prosecutor said that officers curbed Streitmatter’s vehicle in the 10200 block of South Cicero Avenue on Aug. 1 when officers saw the synthetic pot.
