Earlier in 2023, the prosecutor told the judge that national center that the ICAC task force received another cyber tip, this one from Google that contained over 100 files, including 20 videos of young girls under 13 being forced to perform sexual acts with adults and other children, the prosecutor said.
Following months of investigation, police executed a search warrant Tuesday at Aleman’s home in the 10900 block of South Kenneth Avenue, where police said child sexual assault material was found on his devices. Aleman was arrested at the scene.
In a motion to detain, the prosecutor told the judge that Aleman presented a threat to the community, especially children.
“This defendant did not learn his lesson the first time,” the prosecutor said. “The state has no confidence he’d comply with home confinement or electronic monitoring. He needs to be supervised 24/7.”
Aleman’s attorney said his client has lived in his current home for 20 years and is gainfully employed at a manufacturing company in Alsip.
The judge placed Aleman on home confinement with a 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew. He is to have no internet access or contact with minors while his case is pending.
Aleman is classified as a sexual predator on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry. He was 44 when he was convicted of child pornography charges in 2006. He is due back in court Sept. 25 in Bridgeview.
