Reilly's Daughter Hosts Fundraiser For French and Yanez Families
Reilly's Daughter will donate 100 percent of food sales on Sunday, Aug. 22, to the families of CPD Officers Ella French and Carloz Yanez.

OAK LAWN, IL — As is their custom after the line-of-duty death of a Chicago police officer, the owners of Reilly’s Daughter, 4010 W. 111th St., Oak Lawn, will be donating 100 percent of food sales on Sunday to the families of fallen CPD Officer Ella French, and her critically injured partner, Officer Carlos Yanez Jr. who remains hospitalized.
“We wish to offer a small token of our sympathy to the family of Officer Ella French and our wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Officer Carlos Yanez with our gratitude to all who serve and protect,” the Irish pub said on Facebook.
If you’re out and about or looking for a place to eat after church, stop by and grab lunch or dinner. The kitchen will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Live entertainment will also be featured.

Reilly’s Daughter has a fresh crop of “Back the Blue” T-shirts for sale in all sizes for $20 made by Marathon Sportswear, of which 100 percent of proceeds will go directly to the French and Yanez families.
Owner Brenden O’Brien began donating food sales to fallen Chicago police officers’ families in 2018. The bar has raised a combined $15,000 for the families of Commander Paul Bauer, and Officers Conrad Gary, Edward Marmolejo and Samuel Jiminez. All were slain in the line of duty in 2018.
