A reminder for all of you independent contractors and small business owners that Monday, June 17th is your deadline to pay your estimated income tax installment for the second quarter. I suggest you consider on-line payment using https://www.eftps.com/eftps/ and https://www.revenue.state.il.us/app/eftiit/ . Even if you pay in full at year end, you may still receive a late payment penalty if you did not make any estimated payments during the year. Be sure to check with your own tax professional for any special considerations specific to your own circumstances.
