Indiana Man Nabbed During Burglary In Progress: Oak Lawn Police

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn police arrested an Indiana man who is believed responsible for several vehicle burglaries, police said. Javon Triplett, 22, was charged with possession of a stolen gun, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and three counts of burglary to auto.

Burglaries reported near 103rd Street and Cicero Avenue, and 91st Street and Cicero Avenue earlier this week prompted an emergency alert to residents.

Oak Lawn police officers responded to a burglary in progress Thursday morning and apprehended a man, later identified as Triplett, police said.
