Respect Week at Eisenhower

"I pledge to look for the lonely . . ."

Eisenhower High School this week campaigns to inspire students to treat everyone, but particularly people with special needs, with dignity and respect.

The campaign includes students signing this pledge during lunch periods.

"I pledge to look for the lonely, the isolated, the left out, the challenged and the bullied. I pledge to overcome the fear of difference and replace it with the power of inclusion. I choose to include."

All day students have signed this pledge during lunch periods. And one by one volunteers have taped the pledges to the cafeteria wall.
